The International Sami Film Institute and Nunavut Film Development Corporation are looking for indigenous filmmakers from the arctic region for a film workshop, Arctic Film Circle. The workshop is taking place in connection with the imagineNATIVE film + media arts festival in Toronto, Canada 12th-14th of October 2015.

The aim of Arctic Film Circle is to establish an arctic film alliance with filmmakers from the arctic circumpolar area.

Circus Without Borders, a documentary about Guillaume Saladin and Yamoussa Bangoura, and Kajutaijuq: The Spirit That Comes, filmed and produced in Iqaluit featuring Johnny Issaluk.

 SOL a Nunavut Film Funded, Award Winning film will be screening at the Astro Theatre in Iqaluit January 28th and 29th. Admission will be by donation with all funds going to the Embrace Life Council.

Executive Director

TV Nunavut Educational Broadcast Society (TVNEBS) was incorporated as a non-profit Society in 2014. A Board of Directors manages it. The Society was formed to ultimately create a regional media broadcaster in Nunavut.

The Executive Director is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors.

We are seeking a responsible, highly organized individual with administrative experience and advanced communication skills.


Salary: ($6,000 to $7,000 monthly) To be negotiated, dependent upon skills and experience

Term: Commence ASAP to March 31/2015, with possibility of extension.
